Privacy Policy
This policy explains how QuipPos (point of sale, waiter screen, kitchen display, admin panel and the mobile and desktop apps) handles data. The service is operated by GO RICH MARKETING LLC, United Arab Emirates.
Who controls the data
QuipPos is a business service. Each subscribing company (restaurant, shop, laundry, repair centre, salon) manages its staff accounts, customer records and sales, and is responsible for them. We process that data on the company's behalf only to provide the service.
Data we process
- User accounts: name, username or email, phone number (if entered), role and branch; passwords are stored hashed and PINs encrypted.
- Business data: products, orders, invoices, recorded payments, shifts, inventory and reports, and the customer details a company enters, such as name, phone and delivery address.
- App device data: the company address saved on the device, an installation ID and a push token (when waiter notifications are enabled).
- Technical data: cookies needed to stay signed in, and IP address and browser or device type in security and error logs.
The app does not access contacts, location or the microphone. It uses the camera to scan barcodes or when you choose a photo to upload, and Bluetooth only to connect to the receipt printer you choose.
How we use it
- To run the service: sign-in, orders, printing, reports and order alerts for waiters.
- For security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and checking the company's subscription.
- To contact you about the account and support.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or track users across other apps or websites.
Service providers
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications to the device (device token and alert content only).
- Our hosting provider, and payment providers when a company subscribes to a paid plan.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Security and retention
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), each company's data is isolated, and access follows user roles. We keep data while the company's subscription is active, then delete or anonymise it on request, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data through your company administrator or by contacting us. See Account and data deletion.
Children
The service is intended for businesses and their staff and is not directed at children.
